Course Objective This course aims to provide students with up-to-date and evidence-based in-depth information about the examination of the basic concepts and topics of Surgical Nursing, diseases that require surgery, their treatment, and nursing care management in the perioperative process.
Course Content In the content of this course, literature review and the use of evidence-based guidelines in nursing, surgical asepsis, surgical stress, shock, homeostasis, burn/wound healing and care, perioperative nursing approaches, pain management in surgical patients, nursing care of diseases that require system surgery, accelerated surgery, parenteral /enteral nutrition, and hemodynamic monitoring are included.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
