Course Objective To establish realtionship between molecular mechanisms involved in cardiovascular system diseases and related drugs effects
Course Content Introduction to cardiovascular pharmacology: electrical and physiyological factors, electrolyte- acid base equlibirium, osmalarity of body fluids, Heart failure I: pathophysiology of cardiac glycosides , Heart failure II: other drug groups, myocardial ischemia: nitrates and other drugs, antiarrhythmic drugs I, pathophysiology of rhythm anormalities, Na+ channel blockers, antiarrhythmic drugs II, K+ channel activators and other groups, antihyperlipidemics I: HMG CoA reductase inhibitors, antihyperlipidemics II: Fibrates and other drug groups, Antihypertensives I: Vasopressin system, diuretics, Antihypertensives II : Sympatholytics, vasodilators, Antihypertensives III: Drugs affecting renin-angiotensin system.
