Course Objective The aim of the course is to provide information on the basic principles of endocrine physiology and hormones. The basic rules of the working endocrine system and the control mechanisms of hormones will be discussed.
Course Content General Principles of Endocrine Physiology, Posterior Pituitary Hormones and Its Control by Hypothalamus, Anterior Pituitary Hormones and The Hypothalamus, Thyroid Hormones, Adrenal Glands Cortex Hormones; Glucocorticoids, Adrenal Glands Cortex Hormones; Mineralocorticoids, Pancreas Hormones, Parathyroid Hormones, Calcitonin, Vitamin D, Calcium and Phosphate Metabolisms, Male Reproductive Physiology, Hormonal Control of Female Reproductive functions, Pregnancy and Lactation, Fatal and Neonatal Physiology, Erythropoietin, Atrial Natriuretic Peptide
