Course Objective The aim of this course is to explore the fundamental concepts of social psychology in exercise and sports, including group processes, team dynamics, group cohesion, coach-athlete relationships, and leadership, through the lens of relevant theories and research. By the end of the course, participants will be able to effectively follow and discuss current literature in the field, as well as apply their knowledge to practical settings.
Course Content The fundamental concepts of social psychology are to understand group processes and dynamics, relationships in the social psychology of exercise and sports, leadership, and spectator interaction. It also covers social-cognitive theories of exercise, self and gender roles, ethics, and emotions.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
