Course Objective To understand the theoretical knowledge, basic concepts, theories and theories about sports and exercise psychology in healthy growth and development; participants learn about sports and exercise psychology topics related to exercise and sports environment and group process; aims to examine research articles on this field.
Course Content • Concepts and relationship related to psychological well-being and exercise, • Exercise behavior theory and models, • Exercise and self-perception concept and relationship • Exercise addiction and unhealthy behaviors, • Sports injuries, return to exercise, burnout and overtraining issues • Sports psychology in children, reasons for quitting sports, family involvement, aggression, peer bullying, personality related to participants, self-confidence, motivation, stress and anxiety, • It covers the topics of competition, cooperation, feedback, intrinsic motivation, character development and child protection in sports related to sports and exercise environment.

1Knows the basic concepts of sports and exercise psychology in healthy growth and development.
2Explain the relationship between sports and exercise and psychological well-being.
3Explain the theories about exercise behavior.
4Understands the reasons for participation and withdrawal from exercise and related psychological concepts.
5Knows unhealthy behaviors related to exercise and can offer solutions.
6Understands the processes related to burnout in exercise and sports, and recovery after sports injuries.
7Knows the concepts and issues related to children and sports psychology.
8Searches and analyzes articles related to the field.
9Develop research by following the research processes related to the course topics.
