Course Objective Understanding the natural environment and the effects of its degradation on the environment
Course Content Concepts related to natural environment degradation; Approaches on natural environment degradation. The importance of environmental degradation for the land user; Erosion markers and production reducing markers-indicators (salinization, acidity, calcification) research techniques. Factors affecting and accelerating erosion; methods for calculating soil losses. Using computer programs to calculate erosion and surface flow (WEPP, EUROSEM, SMODERP). Consequences of environmental degradation for the user; Benefits of natural environment protection
