Course Objective To reveal the place of sustainable development in geography.
Course Content Definition and objectives of sustainability, transition from agricultural society to industrial society. Results and problems of existing systems. What is the contribution of science and technology in the transition to sustainability? Sustainable rural development model. Sustainable agriculture and tourism practices in terms of rural development. Sustainable urbanization phenomenon and urban agriculture practices.
