Course Objective The main goals of this course are (1) to introduce students to the measurement theories that are used in test and scale development, (2) to help them learn the procedures used in developing and validating online and paper-and-pencil scales, (3) to familiarize them with the techniques used in applied psychometric analysis.
Course Content After reviewing survey methodology, and statistical concepts that are necessary for learning measurement theories, classical test theory and latent variable models will ve covered at both conceptual and applied levels.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

1Learning about the measurement theories that are used in Online and Paper-and-Pencil tests, surveys, and scales
2Reviewing the statistical concepts and techniques that are required for understanding measurement theories
