Course Objective This course aims to make the students develop the skills in order to solve the problems by obtaining information about the scope, protection, promotion, and management of cultural heritage.
Course Content The protection of cultural heritage and artistic traditions, making these heritage assets available into national and international tourism, cultural heritage protection concepts, the concept of cultural heritage, definitions, protection of cultural heritage and sustainability, laws, regulations and agreements, UNESCO World Heritage List, the meaning of cultural heritage in Turkey and its management and contemporary approaches in cultural heritage management.
