Course Objective In parallel with the developments in the tourism sector, this course aims to make the students examine the methods and ways of establishing effective and harmonious relations with a theoretical framework and practical examples by focusing on the communication issue, which is the starting point of human relations in the field of tourism guidance.
Course Content Theoretical background in communication, communication skills (verbal, written and non-verbal), effective use of communication skills. Definition of communication and effective communication, its elements and characteristics, the used language, self-knowledge, effective listening and feedback, factors that prevent and facilitate communication, and good manners and courtesy.
