Course Objective This course aims to make the students to have information about archaeological data, which belongs to various civilizations, emerged in Anatolia since pre-historic times.
Course Content Pre-historic times of Anatolia, Hatti, Hittites, Troy, Phrygians, Urartu, Lycia and Greek Civilizations, Hellenistic Period, Roman Period, Greek and Roman Archeology of Anatolia, important ancient cities. Terminology of Archeology, Christian Age of Anatolia and Byzantine Architecture from early examples.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
