Course Objective The aim of this course is to examine the relationship between language and society and question the modified structures and meanings of language in accordance with the changing social conditions by citing examples of language and society relations.
Course Content This course contains sociolinguistic theories. Taking into consideration the idea that language is a social phenomenon, it includes the social dimensions of language through its relations to moral, cultural and traditonal values.

Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
