Course Objective Depending on the region’s geological features the distribution of stone pits used in the construction of ancient cities, the techniques which are followed while operating marble-quarry, the effect of discontiunity surfaces on removing big columns, the effect of stones’ physical and geomechanical features on being used as building block will be taught in this class.
