Course Objective	Recognize the languages of Kök Turks, Uighur, Karakhanid, Khwarezm, Kipchak and Cagatai. Gain comparison and analyzing skills. Acquire the skills for making connections between modern Turkish dialects.
Course Content	The historical periods of Turkish, the old Turkish dialects, The linguistic characteristics of these dialects, the analisys of texts

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	Gain ability to deepen their knowledge about historical Turkish dialects which are learned in undergarduate degree.
2	Gain ability to use theoretical and practical knowledge which are learned in master's degree.
3	Gain ablity to observe the changes between historical and contemporary Turkish dialects and according to these observations gain ability to make diachronic and syncronic researches.
4	Gain ability to read and understand the texts about historical Turkish dialects and use these data for their scientific researches.
5	Gain ability to classify the data that are collected from their research about Turkish historical dialects and make analysis and synthesis.
6	Gain ability to make interdisciplinary studieis about their research fields.
7	Learns how to make data collection, classification the data and learn scientific research methods.
