Course Content We can say that a Turkish painting in western style has started with students depicting their art training on canvas upon returning from abroad, where they were sent to study for the first time in 1830. Turkish painting art creates its own line in western style thanks to students who had been to Europe for painting training, foreign painters who came from Europe and the guidance of Sanay-i Nefise Mektebi which was established in 1883. In this course, starting from the year 1883 until October 29, 1923 was proclaimed the Republic of Turkey in the process, the remaining 50 years of the Ottoman her western sense, the art of painting will be discussed.
