Course Objective The aim of course is examining the terminology of Art History and the similarities and differences between Art History and the closely related disciplines and have information about the evaluation of the works of art and architecture with the scientific methods and techniques
Course Content Terminology and the scientific side of The History of Art, and its similarities and differences between the other disciplines will be discussed and the students will be provided with the information about the scientific methods and techniques of evaluating the works of art.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Will be able to explain the adoption of Islam, architecture and decorative arts of the period of the Seljuk and Ottoman States in general, may explain the effect. Knows the reflections of the adoption of Islam architecture. The development of the art of miniature painting and describe the effects of Islam. Explain the effects of immigration and migration to Anatolia.
2Will be able to explain the development of Turkish art. Illustrate the reflection of the transformation of stone and brick architecture in Anatolia. Kümbets tombs tell the causes of transformation process. Seljuk and Ottoman architecture and the emergence of the madrasas differences between the sort. Ribatlar, describe the causes of the appearance and the transformation of typical khan.
3Will be able to explain the concept of architectural space. The concept of the central space under the Ottoman Empire in the early period of development of mosque architecture examples. Gine information about the concept of space under the Ottoman Empire on the development of mosque architecture of the classical period. Describe the westernization of the Ottoman Empire period of the central space within the the development of mosque architecture.
