Course Objective It is to reveal modern production approaches and methods by examining the Japanese origin Lean Production and lean thinking philosophy, which is the essence of the pursuit of perfection and continuous improvement in production.
Course Content Lean Manufacturing and lean thinking philosophy, approaches and methods, theory and practice examples, project presentations.

1To explain the concept of waste
2To be able to apply waste types and elimination methods
3Determining the current situation and planning the future situation with value stream mapping
4Ability to balance workload
5Ability to apply the basic steps of lean techniques such as 5s, SMED, Poka-Yoke, TPM, Kanban
6Ability to make improvements within the scope of 5S
