Course Objective The objective of this course is to give the student the basic knowledge and debates around the technological change and economic development.
Course Content Nature of technological change and innovation, technological change and technological revolutions in historical perspective, technological change and ınnovations in the industrial revolution, technological changes in the second industrial revolution, technological changes in the third industrial revolution, macroeconomics of technology and innovations: national systems of innovation, perspectives on technology, microeconomics of technology and innovation: theory of firm.
