Course Objective The aim of the course is that understand relationship between mythology, iconography and archaeology. The objectives of the course are that have enough information about works of Homeros and Hesiodos, know description and subjects about the Troia war, understand and explain today’s society mythological subjects and their creation reasons.
Course Content Besides the Greek mythology and iconography; how to interpret the representations of Greek mythological characters on archaeological artefacts will be explained.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

1To be able to distinguish different gods Anatolia and Greece and their roles
2To be able to distinguish different mythological depictions and differences between them
3To know complex mythological depictions and their functions
