Course Objective The aim of this course is to introduce the fundamental principles of legal profession to the undergraduate students for them to choose their career deliberatively and to profess adequately as attorney after graduate education. Also to learn the profession ethics is one of the most important aims of this course
Course Content 1 Introducing the Resources of Law of Legal Profession, Determining the Court Decisions which are going to be Prepared As Presentation by the Students 2 Public Service and Liberal Profession Characters of Legal Profession, Independence of Attorneys and Monopoly of the Profession 3 Accepting Rules into Legal Profession and Methods of Practicing 4 Mediation as a Conflict Resolution Method 5 Attorney Retainer Agreement 6 Determination of the Attorneys Fee 7 Collection of the Attorneys Fee 8 Legal Authorities of Attorneys 9 Obligations of the Attorneys Arising from Client-Attorney Relationship 10 Obligations of the Attorneys Arising from Court-Attorney Relationship 11 Legal Responsibility of Attorney 12 Mid-Term Exam 13 Criminal Liability of Attorney 14 Disciplinary Liability of Attorney, Sample Decisions of the Supreme Court
