Course Objective To introduce Islamic Law within the framework of its sources, literature and systematics.
Course Content Nature of fiqh and its main characteristics, fıqh and law, Emergence and hisorical development of fiqh, Madhabs of fiqh, Structure of the classical texts of fiqh and literature of fiqh, Methodology of fıqh /(usul al-fiqh) and its literature, Sources of fıqh.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
