COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective To teach the definition, historical development, importance of massage, materials used, indications and contraindications of massage. To be able to apply massage types, competition and training massages, general principles of massage, massage manipulations and massage applications according to body regions.
Course Content 1st WEEK: History and definition of massage - Features of the hall to be applied massage - Definition and characteristics of masseur and masseuse - Materials for massage application 2. WEEK: Effects and types of massage - Sports massage and practice - Therapeutic massage - Aesthetic massage - Massage with tools THREE WEEKS: - Massage conditions (Massage Indications) - Conditions where massage cannot be applied (Contraindications of massage) WEEK 4: - Definition of massage manipulations (with theoretical and practical) - Definition and effects of extruder - Definition of friction and its effects - Definition of petrisaj and its effects 5. WEEK: - Definition of massage manipulations (with theoretical and practical) - Definition and effects of Tapotman - Definition and effects of vibration - Presion definition and effects - Week 6 - Areas of application and application of massage (theoretical and practical) - Back massage manipulations Week 7 - Back massage manipulation practices Week 8 - Leg back side manipulations applications WEEK 9: - Leg front side manipulations applications Week 10 - Applications of neck and neck massage manipulations Week 11 - Breast massage manipulations applications Week 12 - Front and upper arm massage manipulations applications Week 13 - Applications of abdominal massage manipulations - Facial massage manipulations applications Week 14 - Complete body massage

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1 1. Have general information about Sports Massage. 2. Understands the importance of massage for health and performance. 3. To be able to use the theoretical and practical knowledge gained in the course. 4. Can do all the massage applications in the sports area. 5. Can apply the profession by doing applications in accordance with the principles of the Masörlük and Masözlük ethics.
