Course Objective This course is designed for prospective teachers to understand the fundamental laws that constitutes the structure of Turkish educational system. To examine the features related to functioning of the system. To recognize organizational types, their structures and their places in human life.
Course Content Formation of the system of education and general structure of the Turkish education system; fundamental laws regulating Turkish education system; central, local and international organizations of Ministry of National Education; levels of education in Turkish education system; human resources, physical, technological and financial resources in Turkish education system; reform and innovation attemts in Turkish education system; organizational management theories and processes; school as a social system and organization; human resources management; student personel affairs; education related affairs; school management related affairs; school, environment, society and family relations; current discussions and tendencies related school and Turkish educational system.
