COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective To provide a basic knowledge of healthy life and physical activity, to have a general knowledge about the diseases which are common in our country and which are directly related to the inactive life and the general principles of the exercise programs to be prepared for the prevention of these diseases, to have knowledge and skills on how to develop these components.
Course Content The individual focuses on the importance of physical activity for the protection of family and community health. Within the scope of this course, students will have a basic knowledge about gaining and acquiring healthy lifestyle behaviors, physical activity programming.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Having sufficient background in basic sport sciences and healthy life, gaining the ability to use theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in these fields
2Identify, define, formulate and acquire the ability to solve the elements affecting healthy life; select appropriate blood-based methods and new techniques for this purpose and gain practical skills
3Select and use the modern tools, techniques and modalities (special conditions, style, form) necessary for Healthy Living and Exercise applications
4Healthy Living and Exercise applications design multidisciplinary research, keep records, gather appropriate data, gain the ability to analyze and interpret the results
5Literature search for access to knowledge, ability to use databases and information resources for Healthy Life and Exercise sciences
6Individuals gain autonomy, ability to work effectively, confidence to take responsibility
7Adopt life-time learning; contributes to quality improvement, field related education and promotion programs, exhibits its professional behavior internationally
8Find the standardized skill tests for the purpose and apply
9Finds the tools needed to measure and assess the physical fitness associated with Healthy Living and Exercise
10Having professional and ethical consciousness.
