To be able to recognize and discuss the iconographic characteristics originated from Old Testament in Byzantine painting art and handcrafts.
Course Content
The Old Testament as a source for medieval art will be examined by iconographic aspects. In this context, scenes from the Old Testament in every sort of art will be examined and evaluated with their visual materials and stories.
