Course Objective The introduction of modern and contemporary Arabic literature that emerged as a result of the socio-cultural change in the Arab geography since the 19th century, and the study of sample texts from novels, stories, theaters and poems that are the products of this period.
Course Content Reading and analyzing selected texts from leading and poets of modern and contemporary Arabic literature such as Akkad, Mustafa Sadık er-Rafii, Necip Mahfuz, Tevfik el Hakim, Nizar Kabbani, Necip Keylani, Halil Cübran and analyzing these texts in terms of language, literature and socio-cultural.
