Course Content	What views have the classical thinkers of social theory put forward against the nature of religion? What are the main features that stand out in these views, what are the points of criticism.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	The student is informed about the basic evaluations of the prominent names in the field of social sciences about religion.
2	Become aware of the elements belonging to religion and religious thought and those that do not.
3	Be aware of the criticism against religion.
4	Realizes that it is possible to be critical of critical approaches.
5	Realizes that studying religion in social sciences has an interdisciplinary nature.
