COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Level	Bachelor's Degree

Course Objective	As the application of the knowledge obtained in the Methodology of Tafsir and History of Tafsir courses, it is especially to teach the interpretation of the Qur'an through the works of the great Tafsir scholars who have difficult tafsir texts.
Course Content	There will be study and discussion of selected texts from the tafsir books of Maturidi, Zemakhshari, Qadı Baydavi, Abu Hayyan al-Andalusi and Tahir b. Ashur. Area of selection for the course will be the verses of Islamic creed and subjects of practices of Islam and some ethical issues. In the course, students will get the capability of interpretation of the Holy Qur'an.
