Course Objective The eloguence is a word skill in the sense that the meaning in the mind is expressed in the most appropriate linguistic structures according to the situation in which it is said. Rhetoric aims to reveal the semantic possibilities of the Arabic language through different styles and grammatical structures on different levels. The science of rhetoric is also an important part of Islamic thought and culture. The aim of this course; To examine the rhetorical elements of the Arabic language and to enable students to recognize the semantic possibilities of this language. Thus, the semantic approach of the Quran, hadiths and Arabic poetry will be introduced and the semantic differences between alternative forms of expression will be provided by considering the Arabic religious texts which are the sources of the basic field of Theology.
Course Content Definition of rhetoric, definition and history, importance of rhetoric in understanding religious texts, rhetoric and eloquences issues, comparison of Arabic rhetoric elements with Turkish expression possibilities.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Learn about eloquence. Understands the place and importance of Islamic sciences.
2Learns and exemplifies the topics covered in eloquence. It tries to understand religious texts in the light of this information.
3Comprehend the semantics of the Arabic language and apply it in religious texts. Students will gain knowledge of Arabic language and styles.
4Learns the main styles of Arabic and the different possibilities of expression (expression) and compares them with the forms of expression in Turkish.
