Course Objective Basic principles of model building and simulation tasks such as input analysis, output analysis, verification and validation and model animation. Focus on discrete event simulation. Includes random number generation, random variety generation, learning components of simulation and the simulation of simple systems. Applications to manufacturing, service industries, transportation and layout problems.
Course Content will be generate random variates using random numbers for a given probability distribution, will be able examine input data in simulation models
