Course Objective To inform students about commenting on the current economic situation by considering the situation and changes in the history of Turkish industry, agriculture, foreign trade, public balance and balance of payments.
Course Content Structural Forming–Economic Development History–Policies of Industrialization in Turkish–Agriculture Sector and Agricultural Development in Turkish Economy– External Trading Regime and Payment Balance Sheet in Turkish Economy–Money and Currency Policies in Turkish –Monetary and Borrowing Policies in Turkish Economy Economy– Banking Sector and Historical Development in Turkish Economy

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Researches public policies and inferences.
2Besides other sectors, students can also observe financial sector, evaluates crisis, defines banking risks and recommends new products and services.
3Interprets the developments in the leading sectors in Turkish Economy
4Observes national and international general economic developments, evaluate indicators and inference.
5Examines the developments in Turkish economy from the histocial perspective, comments and makes estimations for the future
