Course Objective To understand and learn macro dynamics and the importance of financial markets, financial instruments and their valuation and reports written by financial institutions
Course Content Introducuction to fundamental analysis, Micro and macro analysis, Macroeconomic balances and financial markets,Economy and financial markets, Internal politics and financial markets, External political developments and financial markets, Internal economic developments and financial markets, External economic developments and financial markets, Examples of the Reports of Macro Analysis, Micro fundamental analysis, Balance sheet, Income statements,The relationship between balance sheet and income statement, Identification of micro problems: Introduction to financial ratios, Dupont analysis, Case studies in dupont analysis, Valuation techniques and stock valuation, Market multiplier method, Discounted cash flows, Discounted cash flows II, Case studies (Discounted cash flows), Term evaluation.
