Course Objective Giving students an understanding of powder metallurgy, one of the five processing method, which is used for production of very important machine parts, includes steps of powder production, powder pressing, sintering, finishing processes, properties of the materials procduced by powder metallurgy, powder production methods and applying areas in the industry, cutting tools, refractory metals, bearings, electrical contact materials, metallic braches, etc production and properties in the cource period.
Course Content To know to powder metallurgy technique, production methods of ceramic, metallic and cermet materials with powder metallurgy and production steps, characteristics of the production techniques, treatment parameters
