COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective The primary aim is to introduce students to numerical methods and to teach how to analyze and solve engineering problems using these techniques. Students alsa learn make algorithms for solution of engineering problems and to implement them in computer . The course alsa contributes to analytical methods that are learned in previous semesters.
Course Content Introduction to numerical analysis, Matlab operations that are needed in numerical calculations; Source of numerical errors; Roots of equations; Linear and nonlinear algebraic equations; Curve fitting; Regression; Interpolation; Numerical differentiation and integration; Numerical Solutions of Ordinary Differential Equations.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Numerical solution of complex or difficult problems which can not be solved analytically. Calculation Errors. Numerical solutions of nonlinear Equations or nonlinear system of equations.
2Regressions and Interpolation, Curve fitting, iterative solution of linear Systems of Equation
