Course Objective To give information to the students of the Automotive Engineering department about the traditional production methods and application areas used in the automotive industry.
Course Content Introduction to automotive production methods, casting methods commonly used in the automotive industry, casting production process of a vehicle part, forging methods, forging production of a vehicle part, rolling methods, extrusion methods, bar and wire drawing, pipe production, sheet metal working methods, welding methods, machining methods, and powder metallurgy.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
