Course Objective The aim of this course is to provide sufficient information about the the vehicle equipments such as wheels, brake system, active and passive safety systems.
Course Content Examination of the dynamics of the wheels. Brake system, components and structures, stopping distance and stopping time analysis, dynamic and static axle loads. Brake work and energy, air brake systems, ABS elements and principles, Decelerators, steering systems, force and moments on breaking system, front alignment geometry and parts, wheel balancing, active and passive safety systems.
