Course Objective
To give information about the planning and execution of vehicle manufacturing processes.
Course Content
Design and analysis, design flow diagrams, determination of the basic characteristics of the engine or vehicle systems (chassis, transmission, brakes, suspension, steering, etc.), buyer and manufacturer concerning criteria, time planning, preliminary analysis and feasibility study, sizing calculations, compliance controls. Selection of materials for parts, computer aided analysis of strength, complete design calculations, drawing manufacturing and assembly pictures of the main parts. Conflicting design goals, goal attainment and accessibility analysis for elimination of contradictions. Sample mathematical model development and to optimize the parameters of this model and sensitivity analysis. Computer-aided design and manufacturing software and solutions for the use of modern vehicle design examples.
