Course Objective To explain engine performance parameters and devices used to measure engine performance parameters. To teach motor performance tests.
Course Content Measuring instruments, engine testing, motor characteristics, technical report writing, dynamometers, air and fuel consumption measurement, indicators, friction power, heat balance, vehicle test devices and principles, types of testing machines, vehicle testing, measurement of external forces acting on the vehicle, brake force measurement, measurement of fuel consumption and fuel economy of the vehicle.
