Course Objective This course aims providing the fundamental knowledge used in vehicle designing by giving information about the car systems to the students.
Course Content Calculation of the vehicle dimensions , determination of the engine and powertrain suitable with the vehicle, calculation of the dimensions of engine and driveline, and strength, material selection, the design of prototype.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Knows the development of the vehicles since the beginning.
2Prepares a design plan for the vehicle. Describes the conflicting design objectives, methods and possibilities of reaching the target.
3Knows the principles of design and calculations for internal combustion engines.
4Knows the principles of design and calculations for the powertrains.
5Makes the selection of materials according to desired componenet specifications.
6Explains the methods of design and manufacturing.
