Course Objective Aim of this course to give information about material selection in design and teach to use this concepts in application
Course Content Fundamentals of material selection, selection of materials in terms of mechanical and physical properties, material selection diagrams, material selection and design, choice of materials in terms of implementation, the design of the machine consists of: steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, plastics, composites. Bolt materials, welding materials to merge, shaft materials, chain and gear materials, belt and pulley materials, spring materials, supplies roller bearing, sliding bearing materials, gears, materials, wire and rope materials, supplies hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, seals materials, the relationship between the choice of material and process.
