Course Objective To teach cyclic loading and characteristics of fatigue failure. And also factors of fatigue fracture and causes of easy fracture and factors effecting fatigue strength and increasing methods of fatigue strength
Course Content Cyclic loading and fatigue, the force state of change over time, the classification of cyclic loading, the general character of fatigue damage, Fatigue fracture mechanism of strain and fatigue, because fatigue cracking, fatigue crack initiation, Fatigue crack growth and progression, which causes fatigue and breakage factors facilitating breakage, Fatigue fractures in the formation of macroscopic appearances and shapes, general fatigue limit detection methods, Smith chart, Fatigue strength of the explanation of the other curves, Fatigue resistance factors and methods to increase strength, material of the genus, the effect of composition and structure, the effect of surface conditions, the effect of temperature, the effect of stresses, effect of frequency, the effect of corrosion, low repetition effect
