Course Objective Understanding of the theoretical and working principles of nuclear techniques and methods of analysis, the interaction of radiation with matter, the use of information on the issues of gaining measurement information in nuclear spectroscopic methods, explaining the use of radiation in material analysis and medical applications, explaining the effects of radiation on human and environment, teaching radiation detectors and dosimeters, informing about radiation safety and protection measures
Course Content Instrumental analysis techniques in nuclear and radiation science, radiation detectors and dosimetries, radiation applications in medical imaging and therapy, radiopharmaceutical techniques, nuclear activation analysis, radiotracer methods, viewers in chemical process studies, radioisotope, nuclear medicine, radiotracer and other applications of radionuclides, science of nuclear radiation technology uses, particle sources, interaction of radiation with polymers, ceramics and metals, effects and interaction of radiation in biological environments, effects of radiation on human health and the environment.
