Course Objective
This course provides the welding defects of weld structures, the measurement of weld defects, evaluation criteria of the welding defects according to standards, the preparation of weld specimens for destructive test methods, the eyes control, penetration, magnetic, X-ray and ultrasonic tests of welded joints, writing reports and evaluation of weld defects
Course Content
Destructive testing, tensile testing, hardness testing, impact testing, non-destructive testing, liquid penetrant, Eddie - Current testing, magnetic testing, ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, visual testing. Test methods, reporting and evaluation of results.
