COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Bachelor's Degree

Course Objective To have knowledge about semiconductor components such as diodes, BJTs, FET, MOSFETs and OP-AMPs, and design, simulate and analyze of electronic circuits consist of these devices.
Course Content Semiconductors. P-N junctions, semiconductor diode structure, working principles, diode equivalent circuits, diode characteristics and currents. Types of diodes and their applications. PNP and NPN junctions, BJT principles, different connections, input and output characteristics, JFET and MOSFET principles, structures. Diode, BJT, FET and MOSFET bias circuits. Structure and working principles of operational amplifier (Op-Amp). Application circuits.
