COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective Introduction to planning concept, planning process and different approaches to this process, components of planning process, landscape planning models, participatory planning approach and introduction of planning examples, physical planning in general, historical development of landscape planning theories and methods, systematic structuring of landscape planning process in this context and the relevance and content of post-implementation management of planning, which is an area of action for the future.
Course Content Theories and methods of landscape planning include urban landscape planning and rural landscape planning. Within the context of landscape planning theory and methods; utopia, ecotopia, differentiation of planning design, classification of landscape, landscape planning, landscape management, protection of landscapes and so on. "concepts" and McHarg, Lewis, Hills et al. "planning approaches" developed by landscape planners are explained.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
