Course Objective	To give information about basic concepts related to nature conservation, nature conservation history in the world and Turkey, nature-human relationship and causes of environmental problems, protected area status in the world and Turkey, methodological approaches to the planning of protected areas and protected area management in Turkey.
Course Content	Nature conservation, environmental issues, international conventions to which Turkey is a party, the status of protected areas, protected area planning and management.
