Course Objective To research Republican architecture between 1923-1970. To research the relations between architecture and republican ideology, nationalitarian architecture, relations between modern and nationalitarian architecture.
Course Content The historical period of ideolgy of rebuplican ideolgy, principals of modernization and nationalism, first period of republican architecture. Planning of modern Ankara. Second period of republican architecture. Foreign architects. 
Prerequisites MIM 308 ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN IV
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
