Course Objective	The aim of this course is to study the relation between space and representation. The focus is how the concepts of culture, identity, history and memory are exhibited in expositions, biennials and especially museums and regarding this how these spaces become medium of representation. The intention is to analyze how the changing ideological viewpoints produce the representation practices spatially and socio-culturally.
Course Content	Within the scope of this course the exhibition spaces will be open to discussion regarding the ideological background which dominate the production of these spaces from the building to the archive, collection, the objects and the narration of the exhibitions.

1	To scrutinize the production of exhibition spaces focusing on the ideologies
2	To evaluate how the concepts of culture, identity, history and memory are narrated in the exhibitions
