COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective	The aim of this course is to create awareness and develop a vision about the importance of natural and cultural environment for tourism, the analysis of environmental parts of tourism product and environmental protection practices in tourism industry.
Course Content	The interaction between tourism and environment will be taught. In this context, alternative forms of tourism which they grow up with the relations of environmental objects; the intensity of pressure of tourism activities on environment; carrying capacity which shape the borders of using environmental values; techniques of environmental planning and Environmental Impact Assessment will discussed.
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite	No the corequisite of lesson.

6	He/she illustrates applications could be developed in sub-sections of tourism (accommodation, travel, food&beverage, etc.)
