Course Objective	The aim of this course is to introduce the major concepts in hotel management. What makes tourism possible, what is the role of tourism for achieving sustainable development and how tourism can become an important factor in the wealth of any nation? Additionally, factors affecting domestic and international tourism, tourist behaviors, impacts of tourism, marketing strategies and future of the tourism will be determined.
Course Content	The definition of tourism and tourists, tourism management and other sciences, tourism types, factors affecting the development of tourism, tourism system and the ındustry, tourism supply, tourist products and tourist elements make up products, tourism demand and demand factors, tourism and economic environment, social impacts of tourism, tourism and physical environment, tourism management in Turkey, international tourism management.
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite	No the corequisite of lesson.
